Toothbrush Spoon #2

The Toothbrush Spoon was not my original idea but had been patented way back in 1934 as I discovered when I re-invented it back in 2020. Still Della and I were both very pleased with it/them and have been using them ever since. I realise now that I could have drilled a hole in it and bolted it to my spoon (or pop-riveted it), but the rubber rings worked fine. If you want a 2 gram toothbrush please read on…

Now for folks who can’t cope with the awesome DIY task of cutting down a toothbrush and installing a couple off O-rings etc on it (for a cost of maybe 5 cents) you can simply buy one! Why not? Money grows on trees after all! They are calling it The Trail Brush a triumph of 3D printing. As you can see it has a little knob which fits through the hole in (some) spoons.

Buy it from our favourite Australian ultralight hiking store, Ultralight Gear for A$14. 95 (Aug 2025)
