Motorbike Carrier

For a number of years I carried my motorbike around on one of these which sits the front wheel up in the cradle while the rear wheel just tags along, basically turning your motorbike into a trailer.

The trouble was that it was hard to turn around on narrow tracks mainly because I could not see the motorbike out the back of the Disco or Defender for example.

I took to taking the Canadians and the motorbike just on my ordinary trailer like this:

But I did want something better, so recently I bought one of these Carry Racks. I was going to make one but somehow it never happened.

Loaded up ready to go.

As you can see it is getting my motorbike to where I can do the packraft shuttle. See: Thomson Autumn Packraft

And here is my packraft ready to set out for a short trip on the Thomson.

I have these further two bits to add. One is the lights which came with it which need wring up to a plug I have yet to buy. There is also a number plate carrier (for legality).

The other is the Dual Hitch Receive (below) which will lift the whole thing up 9″ so it will travel over those really big bumps they putting everywhere up the bush nowadays.

You can also get Hitch Tongue Adaptor  which will convert a normal ball type hitch to a 2″ hitch so you can use this carrier with them. I will need this for the Subaru Outback. NB: This is only suitable for light load eg under 300 kgs.
